Values

TOUR DE FROTH is a “Values” driven Organization. Our values are derived from the theological works of the 19th century Franciscan monk: George Boole, from Trinity of  Hope College in Cork.

Values in cycle racing are the deep affective qualities which racing aims to foster through the tour de froth experience and are a crucial component of the sport. How much of this are you planning to read? As a result of demands that racers become more economically oriented and globally conscious, cycle racing educators are being challenged about which values should be developed through cycle racing education. Our concern is that, although the tour de froth values teaching and learning inevitably happen in all cycle racing classrooms, they appear to be mostly implicit. Shouldn’t you be riding your trainer? Thus it is likely that racers have only limited understanding of what values are being taught and encouraged. Good Lord, you’re still reading.

We therefore decided our organization value statements:

are timeless;

describe traits or qualities that are considered imperative; Really, you’re serious?

describe actions which demonstrate the authentic values held by leadership, values they embody in their daily business lives;

illustrate how the organization will behave toward customers, suppliers, employees, partners and other stakeholders; Unreal – can’t believe you have this kind of time.

identify the business benefits of the values in action;

are unique and authentic to the organization (even if Values statements are substantively similar to others’ it is important that each organization refine their own list and express them in unique terms they feel passionate about); and are in plain English (no marketing lingo) Have you ever read one of these before? I mean like is this a habit?

Above all, we are honorable in our actions, and we hold honesty and integrity as our guiding principles.

Our customers are critical to our success. We are customer-focused and responsive, sensitive to cultural realities and driven to exceed our customers’ expectations. Quality is our signature, and we take pride in everything we do. You have got to be kidding. Respect, or something like it.
